Ronnie has been playing drums in bands most of his adult life and now has ventured out to Guitar and Vocals with Acoustic Bay.
Ronnie's dream,
        "Retire and Head to Nashville"

Jack has a passion for music and dreams of taking his music to a new level in his later years.

<< ------ Tommy Boswell
              Mandolin, Banjo, Guitar & Vocals

The entire band agrees that Tommy is the most naturally talented musician in the band. Tommy has lived most of his adult life near Chase City, Virginia. A professional computer programmer with years of experience in RPG & Database programming. Currently employed with a large wholesale food company out of Henderson, NC ( M. R. Williams Inc. )
Tommy has a strong commitment to his faith. Without a doubt Tommy will always be the envy of any musician that happens to hear him do some pickin !

         William A. "Bo" Newcomb ---------->>
    - Bass Guitar -

Bo Newcomb is another rare musical talent. After finishing a complete Music College Education he went into music education and continues to work as a education administrator in our public school system. Bo has been playing keyboard in bands since his teen years and now also plays bass with Acoustic Bay. Now residing in Chase City, Virginia with his wife Debbie and their son "W.A.". Bo and Debbie also have two grown daughters, one married and the other attending Radford University.
There is never a dull moment with Bo in your band, his dry humor will keep tears of laughter flowing. Bo keeps us straight on the music "Theory", all those boring keys and weird chords and stuff.
We will never stop learning from Bo Newcomb....

<< ----- W. A. "Dubb" Newcomb
                - Guitar, Mandolin & Vocals

The son of Bo Newcomb (above) and Debbie Newcomb. This young man will never be the same after doing public performances with Acoustic Bay and also his own Rock & Roll band. W.A. Newcomb can play lead guitar parts at his ripe young age that put the older guys to shame. Dubb's rock band recently opened for a show at the Robert E. Lee auditorium in Chase City, VA. His lead guitar parts and vocals were simply a phenomenon. We look forward to seeing this young musician grow in this exciting industry ! We all want to see you get a great education but when your homework is done, pick up that guitar and practice everyday. Dubb will be a shining star among the greats if he stays the course !

                  Cindy Rickman ----------------->>
                               - Vocals -

Cindy brings a new dimension to our band with her pleasant but strong female voice. We call her a Rose among the Thorns. Cindy lives in Red Oak, Virginia with her husband Robert and their two sons. When not singing with Acoustic Bay, she also sings with a group of friends called " The Gospel Gals" comprised of members, Felicia Rutledge, Patricia Crump and Cindy.. We are excited to hear that they are in the process of recording a CD with a studio up in Farmville, Virginia. Maybe Cindy can lead us along that path soon for a recording session with Acoustic Bay!  Cindy Rickman is a pleasant addition to our band and we look forward to adding more songs for her to sing lead in, she has a strong compelling voice that many of our listeners have complimented. Keep up the great singing and good luck to the "Gospel Gals" also.

<< --------- Kenny Hatfield
                    - Banjo -

Kenny lives near Farmville, Virginia. This man can smoke a banjo and you don't mess with him because he is a true descendent of the Hatfield family of the Hatfield &  McCoy feud. Kenny also has a long music history, he has been playing Guitar and singing with a country band named "High Country" for some 30+ years. Kenny works for Tyson Foods and has two Daughters and 2 Grand Children. Kenny is always wearing a smile when he is pickin the Banjo, just like in this photo. One couldn't ask for a nicer guy in a band and he truly loves playing. When you enjoy what you're doing it always shows on the outside !

        Stanley "Stan" Williams -------->>

Stan grew up in Chase City, VA and is now retired from a great career with Philip Morris Corp.  The jury is still out on who is the best Banjo picker between Stan and Kenny, it is a close run. Rest assured with these two guys around we have the Banjo parts covered. Stan makes his home in Chesterfield Virginia and also has a beautiful vacation home on Lake Gaston. When Stan fires up on a fast Bluegrass song, you better have a fast right hand to keep up and a good set of fresh new strings !

<< --------- Brian Parks
                    - Guitar, Harmonica
                       Vocals

Brian lives in the big city of Fort Mitchell, Virginia with his lovely wife Melissa and their daughter
Mary-Laurel. Brian is a respected insurance agent with Farm Bureau Insurance Company and works out of the Boydton, Virginia branch office.
Click Here to see Brian's office webpage. He would love to service any of your insurance needs.

Brian has a long history of music also and now plays in a band named "Backstreet" out of Danville, VA.

This man's vocals are strong and great for those ole time rock and roll songs, but his harmonica playing is beyond strong. In our band, when Brian is playing his harmonica on those Johnny Cash train themes it fits like a glove.
